CoGA CISMA on SAPELO

The Coastal Georgia Cooperative Invasive Species Management Area (CoGA CISMA) is an alliance that was established in March 2012 to work across Federal, State, Local, and private lands for invasive species management.  This group includes an  eleven county task force working to prevent and control invasive species in Camden, Glynn, McIntosh, Liberty, Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Long, Wayne, Brantley & Charlton counties.

Fall 2014 SCC Interns from the coastal CISMA helped  Reserve staff control  Chinese tallow trees (Triadica sebifera) on the eastern upland at the southern tip on Sapelo Island.
